Sonship Weekend is Coming
Our Sonship Weekend is coming up April 15-17 and you don't want to miss it. What is Sonship all about you ask? Here's some info from World Harvest Mission, the sponsors of Sonship:
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” So why does the Christian life feel like a treadmill sometimes, and why do we feel weighted down by our failings and powerless to change? One reason is that we forget the gospel that led us to new life is also intended to bring us into the full life Jesus promised.
The Sonship Weekend will help us to find the path that leads to the depths of knowing Jesus Christ.
- How faith in the gospel has the power to bring real transformation in our daily life.
- How faith frees me from defensiveness and the desire to always be right.
- How a repenting relational style can lead to greater joy with our family, friends, and our Lord.
